Fenton Charter Leadership Academy offers a dynamic approach to shaping the leader that can be found in every child. Students are exposed to activities that develop vital leadership skills including, communication, critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy. At FCLA, service-learning plays an important role and is integrated into our academic program. Students are responsible for identifying needs in the community, designing a plan to address the need, taking action, and reflecting on the impact they made in the community. Students are given opportunities throughout the school day, as well as during extracurricular programs such as Student Council, Drama Club, and Chess Club, to spark innovation and to develop their confidence, responsibility and reasoning skills. Fenton Charter Leadership Academy values academic growth, as well as the social and emotional development of children. Focusing on the development of the whole child maximizes student learning and creates happy, healthy and engaged citizens of the world.
